portrait of a hooded figure 2

This is a good detailed drawing, however I must admit that the shading on the hooded figure seems very amateurish, especially the shading on his face, it makes it look like he was lots of facial hair and a moustache over his lips, which I'm sure was not your original intention. Other than that however, the colouring seems pretty well done, both on his head and neck, hair, and of course the robe he is wearing. Is she supposed to be like a Gregorian or Benedictine Monk or something, because that's definitely the vibe I'm getting from this picture. Also, it seems very reminiscent of an old medieval portrait, very mysterious-like. Kudos
